FCCB Cricut Crawl.....April Fools !! x !!

Happy 1st of April !!! !!!
A big welcome to
my little part of the FCCB April Fools Cricut Crawl !!

If you have come from
HEATHER'S blog
SCRAPPING RUNNER CREATION'S
you are in the right place,
however, if you are one of my lovely *not* Cricut friends or
you came across my little blog by chance you may want to go to the FCCB blog
and start from the very beginning
...which they tell me...
...is a very good place to start lol !!

We have all used a joke on our projects so hopefully we can all have a good giggle as we make our way around the crawl !!

I printed my joke

"What type of music do Mummies listen too?"

"Wrap Music"

on white card after I'd spent an hour googling (is that a word??) some terrible jokes and laughing till I cried !!

The "mummie" comes from Paper Dolls Dress Up cut at 5"

The web is cut at 4" and the spider 1 1/2"
The musical notes are from Lyrical Letters cut at 1"

I used a black Promarker with a fine nib added to tie the cuts together with fake stitching doodles, super quick and simple !!

Right on wards and upwards then next on the crawl is
MISSY
over at
QUICK CHICK DESIGNS
please go and visit her and leave her some love....

Please join us at FCCB and make your own jokey project to be in with a chance of winning  a prize of
a $25 gift certificate from ScrapbookPal.com
Some of the ladies may have extra prizes of their own
 me....
...sadly slacking

(Hint 2 off a 100 followers - thank you so much for supporting my little blog !!)

We all have until 1900 next Sunday to join in the merriment, as always please use at least 1 Cricut cut and name your cartridge

Happy St. Patrick's Day !!

It's not my challenge week over at FCCB but I couldn't resist another super simple's Kanban meets Cricut card

I took a 6x6" card blank and cut a yellow pearl rounded corner square, measured the topper and cut another yellow and a green square from George and Basic Shapes Cartridge, leaving 3mm borders on them all

I made the shamrocks with Paper Dolls Dress Up Cartridge and stuck them on with foam pads

It really couldn't get much easier, please come and join us over at FCCB, visit the fabulous DT blogs and make your own St. Paddy's Day card
The challenge is open until 1900 on Sunday 17th March ... the official St Patrick's Day lol

FCCB Challenge #150 Fun with Puns

Happy Monday !!
Thank you for hopping over to see my card for the
Challenge #150
"Fun with Puns"

I struggled with this one no less because I am currently on rest duty having fallen over a loose brick in the path at work and hurt my back (again)!!
BUT...
not to be down hearted
I spent ages surfing the net, having a laugh at some of the dreadful jokes out there in cyber space and making my bright and cheerful card!!
My card is sending "Hoppy News"
I used core'dinations card stock to emboss the pretty butterflies and sanded it to let the core color show through.
I cut the 2nd largest 5x7 Spellbinder card creator die, distressed and inked the edges before sticking it onto a 5x7 card blank.
I used my Promarkers to colour the frog stamp and matted it on matching card and added some gems.
The little bee's are made by craft time, so cute!!
Last but not least my cricut cuts ate the two frogs both from Paper Dolls Dress Up
This must be my fastest made DT card ever but the most fantastic thing about blogging and crafting is the fact that you can pick it up put it down and it will be just the same an hour later - perfect for me cause i don't know if I should sit stand or lay down at the moment lol !!

Please pop over to FCCB and see the fabulous DT creations, then make your own project and join in the fun

As always please remember to use a least one Cricut cut and name the cartridge  to be in with a chance of the weekly prize and top 5 project blinkie

FCCB Challenge #139 "Holiday Wishes" x

Happy Monday Folks !!
Gosh it seems ages since I did my last Challenge post !!!
Over at FCCB this week our challenge is #138  "Holiday Wishes"

We have a wonderful selection of Christmas Holiday projects to share so please come and join us.
The challenge runs, as always, from 0800 on Monday morning until Midnight on Sunday (MST)

I have used my 2012 family card for the challenge as life is busy busy busy !!!!
My younger daughter and I set up our own little production line lol it was so much fun.
We kept it very basic due to the number needed, they are made on 135mm Kraft card blanks.
We used my fabulous new Artiste Cartridge for the back ground shape, cut at 97mm and 103mm with Merry Christmas cut at 40mm.
(The snowflake paper is my chosen wrapping paper for this year for total coordination)
We cut the gingerbread man 50mm using the amazing fill the page feature.
I confess to using a spellbinder die for the jar (2 per card 1 acetate and 1 white card) because I really wanted to accent the embossing with Distress Inks.
The snowflakes are a Fiskers punch.
