FCCB Challenge # 196 Seeing Red (or Pink) and White

Happy Monday !!

Our challenge this week over at FCCB is ...
... Challenge # 196 Seeing Red (or Pink) and White

I used some Forever Friends papers left over from last year for my card and the fabulous Artiste cartridge

I'm still in clean and simple land and the card was very quick and easy to put together

I covered the card completely with red paper, added a scalloped square in light pink paper and then cut the doily in the same paper as the background
The sentiment and cherub are cut in pearl white card and the hearts are DoCrafts

Simples !!

The DT are having a card kit swap so I have been busy creating my kit for my DT sister JoNeita, we will be sharing our kits with our FCCB followers over the  next few weeks

In the mean time please pop over to FCCB to see the DT creations for this weeks challenge and then come and play along with us !!

As always please remember to use and name your Cricut cut to be in with a chance of our weekly prize and top 5 spot
We are changing our challenge guide lines very slightly so please look out for updates on the blog

FCCB Challenge #193 Use a Snowman

Happy Monday !!
Today our challenge over at FCCB is to use a snowman on your project

Challenge #193 Use a Snowman

I was slightly horrified to find that having done a search on
(An amazing site that searches for  specific images and sentiments from all the Cricut Cartridges)
that I did not have a single snowman cut on any of my cartridges....
....SO....
I improvised and coloured a snowman scene (Magazine Freebie, ?? make - no idea) with Promarkers and some white flower soft

For my all important Cricut cut I used Artiste and cut the huge snowflake in hint of silver card stock

The paper is from Trimcraft and would have been for my Christmas cards should I have actually got round to making any !!!

I added velvet and pom pom trims across the top, tiny snowflakes, gems and a pile of snowballs at the bottom

OK I guess for a panic make lol

Please come and join in our challenge over at FCCB, looking forward to a cruise around the blogs to see the 'real cricut snowmen" !!
