Anything Goes Challenge "Out with the Girls" x

Welcome to my post for the
ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE BLOG
This week we are

"Out with the Girls"

When my post goes live I too will be getting ready to go "out with the girls" looking forward to enjoying a very posh lunch and lots to drink in the Bail Gate home to Lincoln's amazing cathedral and stunning castle, I am so lucky to live so near such a beautiful city!!

I used the digi image "GillandCarley" by Sherri Baldy for my card, they are just so cute all dressed up for a big night out !!
The background paper is BoBunny purchased from Lynn's on line shop THE CRAFT DEN

I used my (rusty) Promarkers to colour the girls and them softened the edges of the spellbinders die cut with Distress Ink

I added a big bow, 3 pins, 3 flowers and a large gem for embellishment along with a cute "Happy Birthday" ribbon banner and some little bits of washi tape
The letters used for the name are DoCrafts

Please pop over to the Anything Goes Challenge blog and say hello
The challenge will run for 4 weeks to enable the DT to recharge their batteries in anticipation of some fantastic new challenges

ABC, 123 PROJECT

It was one of those WHOOOPS moments when my daughter reminded me she had asked for a card for her nephew over two weeks ago !! !! !!
I had 2 hours to get it made and dry for his party !! !! !!
The Cricut will always come to the rescue no stressing required !! !! !!
~SO~
I cut a large number 5 and the letters for little Brett's name on white card stock with the Cricut Artiste Cartridge and distressed them with Faded Jeans.
I cut the Happy Birthday from the same cartridge
I used some blue Co-ordinations card stock and distressed it with my sanding block and used some more Faded Jeans distress ink on the white card at the bottom, I added a red mirri strip to hide the join, finishing off with some blue and red gems.
EASY !!
PHEW !! !! !!

Sweetdreams Lovely Lady x

I rarely share my personal life on my blog but here is a card first seen on one my very first blog posts nearly two years ago....

It was made for my Nan on her 90th Birthday 3 years ago....

That special lady went to join my Grandad up in heaven this weekend, so I will sadly not be joining my DT sisters for the next few weeks but will be with them all in spirit during the Vinyl Cricut Crawl next Monday and back with Anything Goes on the 24th September.

WOW !!!!
Pop over to FCCB for more details!!

Back to this weeks challenge and my own little card

I used a 6x6" white card blank added matt's and layers in black, yellow and real music paper roughing up the edges a little with my Tim Holtz Distress tool, I accidentally ripped the fragile music sheet so I did it a bit more and made it a feature lol !!

I layered more black and yellow card and to add some interest stuck some little pieces of washi tape and Card Candi onto it before adding my musical note cut from the Lyrical Letters cartridge. I used the Cricut Craft Room to remove the little cut out bits that should have been there.

The flower is cut from Artiste cartridge and the flourish is Cricut Essentials

Please come and join us over at FCCB with your own project, don't forget to name the Cricut Cartridge you use to be in with a chance of a prize and top five place
