Quicky Birthday Card !!

OOOOHHHH !!!

Telling porky pies even for special surprises doesn't sit well so I guess sharing will reduce the guilt factor slightly me thinks !!!

Here is my "quicky" 70th Birthday card for my Mum, her Birthday is Wednesday but we are celebrating with a surprise arriving for the weekend and Birthday meal with her on Saturday, shush......
I have a "posh" card for her but she can't have it till then lol

I used a freebie Hunkydory kit to make the card .... no expense spared there either

She does have a huge bouquet of flowers arranged for delivery on Wednesday morning so she doesn't feel too neglected !!

FCCB Challenge #218 Summer Treats

Happy Monday !!

Welcome to my FCCB post
This week our challenge is
Challenge # 218 Summer Treats

I love summer !!
My card has ice cream cones as my summer treat !!

I used my go to no brainer George and Basic Shapes cartridge for my mats and layers
Create a Critter 2 for the cones and Lets Party sentiment and Artiste for the cute paper bow.

The paper is from Fancy Pants paper stack called Beach Babe and the Satin card a recent purchase from Create and Craft cuts beautifully !!

The bow is so easy to put together with a little brad and makes a change from using ribbon and the frustration of tying the bow lol

Please pop over to FCCB to see all the amazing DT projects, we have 6 new members joining us this month for our new term, Diana Laura Catarina Sharon Julie and Avril looking forward to seeing their creations !!

As always please remember to use and name at least one Cricut cut.

My card is made on a 6x6 white card blank in the shape of a tent !!

I used George and Basic Shapes for all the layers using foam pads for lots of dimension and I also distressed the edges of the grey layer.

I used a Sizzix rose embossing folder for the top yellow layer and a Kaisercraft brick stamp

The flowers are cut with Artiste cartridge in two shades of Basil Basic dot papers and the leaves are cut with Sue Wilson's fabulous leaf die
