Happy Tuesday !!
Only by the skin of my teeth is my DT card for the Anything Goes Challenge Blog here to share this morning
Talk about leaving it until the 11th hour !!
The main picture is terrible - huge apologies but the light was gone by the time I finished last night

Our challenge this fortnight is
Coffee/Food
Please come and check out the DT cards and projects they are amazing as ever !!
You have 2 weeks if you would like to come and join us with your own project, we love cruising around cyber space and make sure to visit everyone who comes to play !!

I used Ashlyn's Alphabet Cricut Cartridge to cut the coffee pot and coffee cup

The paper's are Docrafts capsule collection in linen which co ordinates with the bows.
I added some stamped coffee stains, used Frantage embossing powders and some lace and flowers to decorate

I love this stamp from Lili of the Valley

The friendship word is a wooden embellishment covered in gold frantage embossing powder

Many of the products used in my cards can be purchased from Lynn's shop The Craft Den in Sheffield,  she also does mail order and her telephone number can be found on my side bar

FCCB Challenge #170 Fruit Salad

Happy Monday !!

Welcome to my post for Challenge # 170
FRUIT SALAD
over at

Here is my project for the challenge, its another 3D make this time using Cricut Spring Cottage and Artiste Cartridges and my Expression 2

I loved making this basket full of strawberries it reminded me of the fabulous summer garden party I went to on Friday held by my wonderful friend Jo, the weather was just amazing if not a tad too hot lol but she does have a real life proper swimming pool that we were able to cool off in and there was plenty of champagne flowing all day long and well into the night
x Thanks Jo x

The basket is made with Spring Cottage on the larger 12x24 mat and inked with various Distress Inks
I used some lace and pearls on cord to decorate the outside and pieces of burlap fabric and raffia inside

The little strawberries are put together by stringing them with Baker's twine and are big enough to put little sweets inside
I made them from both Spring Cottage and Artiste as the 2 designs on the cartridges are slightly different -  no 2 strawberries are ever the same right ?? !!

I have to confess to being just a little bit in love with this little basket !!

Please pop over to FCCB and see all the amazing projects the DT have created
You have from now until 1900 Sunday evening to make a project with fruit on it if you would like to enter the challenge
The rules are simple just use and name a Cricut Cartridge of your own choosing
I will be on my way to work after my week off when this post goes live and Acting Ward Manager again, this time, for the foreseeable future .... wish me luck !! !! !!

Anything Goes Challenge #97 Anything Goes !! x

Hi, welcome to my post for this fortnight's

We are going for Anything Goes at Anything Goes this time around !!

Our challenge is open from today until Sunday 29th July
I decided make a 3D project rather than a card and so I used my new cracker die from Tonic Studio's
They really are so simple to put together and so much fun to decorate
I used my Venetian Spellbinder dies to decorate, the centre piece is the off cut of the two border strips - I off centred the cuts to save paper and came up with the fabulous shape !!
I stuck the cracker together and then stuck the border and ribbon on with super sticky tape
I used a tiny bit of Tumbled Glass distress ink on all the edges
I used the same ribbon to tie the cracker before adding the feather and two more Venetian die cuts, they made from ice white paper and tinted again with Tumbled Glass
I added some gems all the way round the cracker and on either side of the mask
Please pop over to the Anything Goes Challenge Blog to see all the DT projects and then join us with a project of your own choosing, we love visiting and leaving messages for everyone !!
Lynne chief whip cracker (ha ha) has an on line craft shop and although her site is having a make over at the moment you can still ring and place orders or visit THE CRAFT DEN if you are lucky enough to be in Sheffield

FCCB Challenge #168 Cute as a Bug

Monday !!
It's Monday !!

Welcome to my post for this weeks FCCB Challenge
Challenge #168 is all about BUGS !!
Butterflies are not strictly bugs I guess but it was too hot and sunny and beautiful to create a dirty old bug card lol !!

As ever our challenge runs from Monday at 0800 until 1900 on Sunday evening, please pop over and join us and then make a card/project using at least one Cricut cut, you could win our top 5 Blinkie to display on your side bar and/or the weekly prize

I used some beautiful Prima papers purchased from THE CRAFT DEN and cut my butterfly x2 with the Artiste cartridge
I was going to use Ashlyn's alphabet but the cartridge has malfunctioned since I added it to Cricut Craft Room and refuses to cut the top part of every image laying it on the "No cut edging bit !!" No idea how that happens, any offers girls?????
I embossed some of the elements on one of the papers and then made some paper flowers also cut from Artiste
I very rarely use glitter but this card cried out for some
I edged every piece with Worn Lipstick Distress ink and added the foil embellishment a present in the Christmas Cricut topper exchange I joined last year - Thanks Jenny !!

Red White and Blue FCCB Cricut Crawl !! !! !!

Extra Happy Monday !! !!

Extra happy because the FCCB Cricut Crawl is finally here !!

We have 7 new Design Team members joining us today and a fabulous assortment of
"RED WHITE AND BLUE"
projects in honour of the INDEPENDENCE DAY celebrations on the 4th July !!
As always we have a line up and order for visiting our blogs so if you have come from
you are in the right place !!
However, if you are not one of my Cricut friends or you are visiting by chance and would like to join in  please visit us at FCCB and as I say every time
"Start at the very beginning which
is a very good place to start"
(Thanks Sound of Music!!)
I decided to use the Fantastic Elegant Edges cartridge for my card and as these fab freebie papers and stamps had just dropped through my letter box the inspiration was born very easily lol
Its very English is all I can say !!
So funny !!
I stamped Betty with Stazon in black ink and water coloured her with Distress Markers, The frame is my Cricut cut
I used some pre cut out flowers (cheating I know but the right colours and another freebie, sadly the papers were orange on the other side so no good for my favourite rolled flowers :-( )
I had to give Betty a mirror so she can admire her hat  and added some ribbon, white flowers and a cute butterfly along with some card candi

So that's my little contribution to our crawl please go and visit
next and leave her some love

It would be great if you joined in with your own red white and blue project, the challenge is open until 1900 Central time Sunday evening at the FCCB blog
Please remember to use and name at least one Cricut cut to be in with a change of a prize and/or top five place

Lastly, just  in case you need it here is the complete DT line up:
