FCCB Challenge 159 MUM x

Happy Monday !!

Yippee !!
Today life goes back to normal, unsociable hours, working weekends, days off split !!
CRAFTING TIME BACK !!

Mother's Day is the theme of this weeks FCCB Challenge 159

We celebrate Mother's Day in March here in the UK so I have changed the theme very slightly for my DT project and created a Pinflair Easel and plaque with MUM on it

The easels are really easy to put together and are made from shiny coated card, I painted it all with white Gesso and then brushed black Gesso lightly over it
I used Frayed Burlap distress ink to soften the white and Rock Candy Crackle Paint as a top coat to seal it, once it was dry I stuck it together with Pinflair glue gel

I painted the plaque with white acrylic metallic paint to soften the black Gesso and embossed a Kanban music stamp in the top right corner
I used paper flowers from the Ribbon Girl with some punched leaves and butterflies to finish
My all important Cricut cut comes from the Artiste cartridge and is MUM cut x4 stuck together and stuck onto the banner that comes in the Pinflair kit

I'm looking forward to having more time to look round everyone's blogs this week so I hope you will join us over at FCCB for this fab challenge
Please remember to use a least one Cricut cartridge and name the cartridge(s) used
The challenge is open from 0800 today until 1900 Sunday evening
