Curve balls!!

Finally ... my I-pad, phone and blog are in harmony with each other!! I have missed crafting and blogging so much over the last few months ... life has this habit of throwing curve balls but hopefully now getting back on track!! 

This is the card I made for my cousins 40th ... bit rusty but hope she liked it!!

Save the date - Final version, finally !!

 Happy days !! We have a final sample for the save the date cards - love !!

Just waiting for the card blanks and inserts to arrive and we are good to go 

The Cricut's Explore and Expression are making light work of all the sunflowers, you should here them buzzing away together like little worker bee's 

Twine bow in keeping with the barn theme

Love this view, the embossing folder is a set of 4 made by Tattered Lace  

Almost a shame to put the insert over the deboss  

 The embossing folder has a matching triangle folder for corners and looks beautiful on the envelopes

New IPad ... No photo's

I have have just updated my blog on my new IPad .... Heaven knows what it looks like though through the viewing eyes of a PC!!!!! I can't add the pictures of my recent makes as it won't link to my phone lol .... Technology phaaa.... Or it's just that I'm getting old !!

Our starter for 10!! - Sunflower Wedding Stationery x

I mentioned in my last post that I am making the wedding stationary for my brother Tim and his wife to be Tab. I got together a samples box,  which I hope will match their brief ... embossing and sunflowers with purple and a rustic feel as the wedding is going to be in the most beautiful barn !!

Love the sparkle in the lettering, I thought as there were so many idea's going round in my head I would do some of them on plain cards with a variety of shades and finishes

 Totally my favourite, love this lace !!

 I'll need a quality controller - the words are the wrong way round !!

Not in the brief but I love this die from Memory Box

I put 1 wallet style in just to try and tempt them lol

 My wild card and also my 2nd favourite, defo needs to purple though !!

This will be my first job I guess as we have just over a year until the wedding. You can just see the beautiful Die-namics die on the card in the background which is my source of inspiration

Love these as an alternative to pillow boxes 

I spent hours working out the measurements for the sunflowers based on the beautiful Die-namics sunflower die that I already have. I want to cut them on my Cricut Expression - I love my brother but not enough to make them all one by one from a metal die lol. Art Philosophy came to the rescue !! - I feel a round of speed crafting coming up - so excited !!

Oh my goodness I cannot quite believe how long it is since I last posted on my blog.  I used to have so much fun blogging my cards and sharing with my DT's. Craft Den is now an amazing fabric shop and although I still follow FCCB I dropped out of the DT due to time constraints just after my last post went up .... So I must change my Bio and update my blog toot sweet !! 

I thought I would just share my latest card for my soon to be sister in law Tab  and I will be back to share my latest venture ... Wedding Stationary!! My brother Tim has asked me to do the stationary for their wedding in May next year so I may need your help and advice as I go along. 

I love this card, I just used lots of shapes in my "left overs" box !!

Quicky Birthday Card !!

OOOOHHHH !!!

Telling porky pies even for special surprises doesn't sit well so I guess sharing will reduce the guilt factor slightly me thinks !!! 

Here is my "quicky" 70th Birthday card for my Mum, her Birthday is Wednesday but we are celebrating with a surprise arriving for the weekend and Birthday meal with her on Saturday, shush......

I have a "posh" card for her but she can't have it till then lol

I used a freebie Hunkydory kit to make the card .... no expense spared there either 

She does have a huge bouquet of flowers arranged for delivery on Wednesday morning so she doesn't feel too neglected !!

I cannot believe we are half way through August already, although the weather would have us believe it was October !!

I am counting down to my holiday in Cyprus flying out on the 24th September from Stanstead....I've been so busy looking after the everything and everybody that I suddenly realised it was time to stop and take some time out ~ hopefully before I burn out !! !! !!
